Janu Godalhi was a human male who lived during the Clone Wars, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Separatist Alliance. Shortly after the Battle of Coruscant, Godalhi attended the Mon Calamari ballet Squid Lake, which was performed at the Galaxies Opera House on the planet Coruscant.[1][2]
Behind the scenes
- "It was a heavy green dress with a hoop-skirt hem and an upholstered finish that made me feel not unlike a 1970s sofa, shaped like a playing piece from the classic "Sorry" board-game. Just add a strange hat, and you're set."
- ―Pablo Hidalgo
The character of Janu Godalhi first appeared in George Lucas' Revenge of the Sith, wherein Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo portrayed an unnamed background character. Despite the fact that his character is fleetingly seen, Hidalgo was forced to wear contact lenses for the role, due to the fact that Lucas did not want eyeglasses to be present in his film.[3] The character was named "Janu Godalhi" for Hidalgo's father, Juan.[4][5]
