Janzor served as a captain and as a GeNode. Shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, he was in command of a 200-man stormtrooper platoon sent by Moff Wilhuff Tarkin to Kashyyyk, just prior to its Imperial occupation.

During the skirmish he was killed by the Wookiees—whom he underestimated, claiming that they were descended from banthas—along with all but two of his men.
