BiographyEdit

On board the OmenEdit

Jariad was born to Devore Korsin and his wife Seelah. He and his mother were brought on board the Sith ship Omen by his father much to the displeasure of Jariad's uncle, Devore's older half-brother and the commander of the Omen, Yaru Korsin.

Crash on Kesh and power struggleEdit

After a battle, Korsin made the ship jump into hyperspace but a fellow Sith ship collided with the Omen and made divert from its course. The damaged ship reached a remote world on which they crash landed.

Straight after the arrival, a schism started to form within the Sith between Yaru and Devore. Not content with his half-brother's leadership, Devore wanted to take command of the crew. When Yaru went to the ship to try and activate the transmitter so that they could be rescued. There, he found Devore on drugs and the two dueled for command of the crew. During the duel, Yaru realized that letting his half-brother live would lead his leadership to be questioned again, so he threw Devore over the cliff to his death.

Adari VaalEdit

After Devore's death, a Keshiri woman named Adari Vaal arrived in their camp and started giving Korsin information about her people. The Sith then enlisted Vaal's help to conquer Kesh by posing as the Skyborn, the gods of the Keshiri. This way, Korin became the first Grand Lord of their new tribe.

Also, during this time, Seelah discovered that Korsin had killed Devore and she started to plot her revenge by growing closer to him and even marring him. Five years later, she gave birth to Jariad's half-sister, Nida.

Revenge beginsEdit

GenocideEdit

"He's not the one I want to kill."
"Be patient. I have been.
"
―Jariad and Seelah Korsin, talking about their desire to kill Yaru Korsin[src]

When the Sith Ravilan used Cyanogen silicate to poison the waters of the Keshiri town of Tetsubal, Seelah saw her chance to not only eradicate the Sith that she hated so much but also to beginning her plot to have her revenge against Korsin. Aided by Jariad and her trusted aides, she poisoned the waters of other towns and villages and put the blame on the Sith, leading Korsin to have them purged.

Only Ravilan was kept alive so that Seelah could taunt him about how she had plotted his downfall before she ordered a fifteen-year-old Jariad to kill Ravilan. After doing it, the boy told Seelah that he wasn't the one who he wanted to kill. She told him to be patient as she had been.

High LordEdit

"I live and die at your command, Grand Lord Korsin."
"Rise, High Lord Korsin
"
―Jariad and Yaru Korsin[src]

Ten years after the purge of the Sith, Jariad was made a High Lord by Korsin and began training a group of Sith Sabers so that they could help him and his mother in their upcoming coup.

He was present during the first Dedication Day where he swore an oath of loyalty to his uncle. He also appeared to give Adari Vaal a lot of attention, more to her than to the other Keshiri officials.

After the ceremony, he was seen training with his Sabers and requested permission from Korsin to go to the Northern lands with them for a training session. The Grand Lord accepted. He also started to realize that, despite his attempts to mentor Jariad, it had never worked as he never listened to him.

The next day, Korsin and Gloyd traveled to the Kesh Temple where lay the Omen to visit Seelah and her medical ward. As they arrived, Seelah called out to Jariad and he surrounded Korsin and Gloyd with his Sabers.

Attempted coup and deathEdit

"I agreed to your little group to give you something to do. You should be ashamed. Go back to Tahv."
"I'm not like Nida. I don't need hobbies. Enough time has been wasted. It's time for military authority to end. This is about succession-about who should best lead the Tribe."
"Who? You? Oh, Jariad-I really don't think so. Go home."
"Commander, I wouldn't put this one in charge of mucking out the uvak stalls"
"I'm the future. The youngest of those born on high. The leader of the Sith should be special."
"You're not special. I've seen your like before
"
― Yaru Korsin, Jariad and Gloyd about Jariad's ability to rule.[src]

Surrounded, Korsin told Jariad that he should be ashamed of trying to revolt against him and he told him to go back to Tahv. Jariad retorted that this was about succession, about who should lead the Tribe. The Grand Lord taunted Jariad by saying that he wasn't fit to rule. Jariad yelled that he was the future, the special leader of the Sith; to which his uncle retorted that he wasn't special and that he had seen his kind before. Seelah intervened and furiously told to tell him how he had seen, how he had killed, his father.

Jariad started to march on his uncle but at that moment, the uvaks were stolen by Adari Vaal and her followers. Korsin seized the chance and escaped along with Gloyd, followed by Jariad's Sabers. When Korsin and Gloyd separated, Jariad and his Sabers followed Korsin while the others followed the Houk. Jariad kept attacking Korsin along with his Sabers as Seelah watched. He was finally wounded and was being pushed towards the edge, the same edge he'd pushed Devore off.

However, as Jariad was about to kill Korsin, an unexpected guest arrived: Nida. Along with her Skyborn Rangers and Korsin loyalists, she attacked Jariad and his Sabers. After killing several of them, she injured her half-brother before taking care of the other Sabers. A badly injured Korsin approached Jariad and told him that he was right: he had to go. But not without accomplishing his last official act that was long overdue. He then used the Force to levitate his nephew and throw him over the cliff. However, he died before he could finish. At that moment, Nida arrived and took over, throwing Jariad over the cliff just like Yaru had done to his own half-brother.

The battle ended when Gloyd blew himself up taking the last Sabers with him. Seelah survived but lost the use of her legs. Nida decreed that she would remain on the mountain until she died alone after taunting her over Jariad's death.
