Jasso Toryn was an important Senator who served in the Galactic Senate during the Clone Wars. During the conflict, he sent his daughter, Korlana Toryn, to go into hiding on Nar Shaddaa, as it was a neutral world and she was at risk from Separatist agents on Coruscant. He was good friends with Jedi Master Lanius Qel-Bertuk and was renowned for being pro-Jedi.
