Jav Patrell was a male Captain of the Wait a Minute, a CC-7700/E interdiction cruiser that was part of the New Republic's Rapid Response Task Force. Patrell had a long history of serving aboard Corellian-made interdictors—over thirty five years—and was considered a veteran.
In 5 ABY, Patrell participated in the Battle of Mindor and was killed along with everyone aboard the Wait a Minute when a waves of TIE Interceptors crashed themselves on the ship's hull, acting on orders of Lord Cronal.
