Catch, originally called Jawaswag, was the name of Rogue Squadron pilot (and later commanding officer) Gavin Darklighter's personal R2-series astromech droid.

Darklighter became attached to the gold and white droid when he was continually greeted with a brief summary of Tatooine and Coruscant's weather despite regular refits, upgrades and memory wipes.

Gavin changed the droid's name to Toughcatch shortly after the Thrawn campaign when he fended off a group of Jawas who were attempting to steal him, injuring one of them in the process. Eventually in 25 ABY the name was shortened to simply Catch where the droid served at the Battle of Dantooine and the Battle of Ithor in the earliest stages of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
