The Jawenko lava beast was a creature native to Mustafar. It naturally produced Nkllonian lava extract from liquid xonolite.^[1]

A Jawa deity was named "Great Jawenko".^[3]

The Jawenko Beast is the boss of Level 4 "Sandcrawler" in the Super Nintendo game Super Star Wars. On Tatooine, a lava beast was the pet of the diminutive Jawas. Contained in the furnace on the lower levels of the Jawa sandcrawler, the giant, dragon-like creature would fire searing flames, guarding the captive droid R2-D2 from intruders. For this reason, Luke Skywalker killed the beast in combat while jumping between precarious platforms over a flow of molten lava.^[2]
