[edit] Layout
Located two stories below the main hall of the Jedi Archives, the analysis rooms were staffed exclusively by the droids SP-4 and JN-66. Sealed off to organics, the sterile chambers hosted state-of-the-art polysensitive graspers and multispectral readers capable of detecting symbols, odor, and skin deposits on any subject placed on the analysis tray outside the booth. Although highly advanced, the analysis technology was unable to identify the style of a very specific saberdart brought in by Obi-Wan Kenobi. The droids could only ascertain that it was a customized model.
The highly advanced technology within these chambers would remain mostly unscarred during Operation: Knightfall, no doubt due to Darth Sidious's plans to use their power to study Sith artifacts.
[edit] Reconstruction
While the rooms fell into disuse and crumble during the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, they were eventually restored by the Reconstruction Authority in the new Jedi Temple. In 43 ABY, Jedi Jaina Solo would use a laboratory here to dissect a cleaning droid which had been bugged by Javis Tyrr in order to get footage from inside the Temple.
[edit] Behind the scenes
In the pre-vis for The Force Unleashed, the template character, resembling Maris Brood, uses the Force to repel stormtroopers in this room, along with its equipment.
