Mustafar was home to a number of Jedi temples during the days of the Galactic Republic.

Mustafar edited

Jedi Master Chu-Gon Dar, an individual who possessed unmatched mastery of physical Force, taught students in these facilities. He created a Force-sensitive object known as the Chu-Gon Dar cube which could channel and manipulate the Force to alter the properties of a physical object placed in the artifact.

When the Sith became active again, a climactic battle on the planet drew a nearby gas giant close to the terrestrial body, starting a gravimetric assault on the planet's surface. The environment was ravaged by horrible mountains of fire, forcing the Jedi to flee off the planet, leaving behind all knowledge of Chu-Gon's cube. The ruins of the Enclave would be found again in c.1000 BBY, and become the base of the Force organization known as the Blackguard.

Behind the scenesEdit

The Jedi Enclave appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online-role playing game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
