Various Jedi Temples were established during conflicts in the Old Republic era, Rise of the Empire era, Rebellion era, and New Republic eras by allies of the Jedi, including the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the Galactic Republic, the Royal Naboo Forces, the Gungans, and the Wookiees.

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was the most famous Jedi Temple, lasting for thousands of years. Another prominent Jedi Temple was the Jedi Temple on Tython. The Jedi Temple on Alaris Prime was yet another prominent Jedi Temple that was built during the battle of Alaris Prime. A Jedi Temple was situated in the rebel-aligned city of Reytha Minor on Reytha.
