Jedi archaeologist

A Jedi archaeologist was a Jedi who, like the Jedi historian and Jedi librarian, had specialized in knowledge of the history of the galaxy and the Jedi Order, but who preferred working in the field. A number were xenoarchaeologists.
At the time of the Great Sith War, Jedi archaeologists were organized under the Academy of Jedi Archaeology. After the Ruusan Reformation, Jedi archaeologists worked with the ExplorCorps and went on expeditions to both the known and unknown regions of the galaxy.

- Exar Kun lied to Master Arca Jeth that he was a Jedi archaeologist to enter to the property of King Ommin.
- Jocasta Nu worked as a Jedi archaeologist before taking the job as chief librarian at the Jedi Archives.
- Jerec was apprenticed to Nu, while in the ExplorCorps and served as an archaeologist before obtaining knighthood.
