Jedi biologist was a term used by the Jedi Order to describe a Jedi Researcher who specialized in the field of biology. One known Jedi biologist following the end of the New Sith Wars was Bowspritz, who authored the "Galactic Bestiary" section for the Jedi Initiate guidebook The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force,[1] first published as early as the year 990 BBY.[3]
