Jedi healers were specialized Jedi that aimed to use the Force to heal instead of (or in addition to) using it in combat.

They were stationed at the Jedi Temple's Halls of Healing, within which the Medical Corps maintained an infirmary. At least some of them were members of the Circle of Jedi Healers.^[1]

Cilghal, a Mon Calamari discovered to be Force Sensitive by Leia Organa Solo,^[2] was the first healer of the New Jedi Order.^[3] Tekli, her Padawan, also practiced as a Jedi healer, including work as a battlefield medic during the Mission to Myrkr.^[4]
