―Zona Luka[src]

The Jedi pogrom was a plot designed to destroy the foundations of the Jedi Order by eliminating the foremost Jedi Masters of the era. Masterminded by Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kun, the pogrom occurred in the year 3,996 BBY, during the latter stages of the Great Sith War, and saw the deaths of at least eight Masters at the hands of their own apprentices.

After killing famed Jedi Master Odan-Urr and stealing his Sith holocron, Kun persuaded several Jedi Knights to return with him to his stronghold on Yavin IV, where he destroyed the holocron, and corrupted them with the spirits that were trapped inside into serving of the dark side of the Force. As newly initiated members of his Sith Brotherhood, Kun sent them all to find and strike down their former Jedi Masters. He himself would deal with his own Master, Vodo-Siosk Baas.
