Jeph Shannessi was a Colonel in the Rebel Alliance.

He was instrumental in the Alliance's success on the planet Minntaa. Unfortunately, when he was successfully killed by an Imperial sniper less than twelve meters from his base camp, the war on Minntaa turned in the Imperial military's favor.
