Jerg was a Human male smuggler who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. He had possibly served in the Republic Navy. His ship was called the Cyclops.

Around 11 BBY, he made a blind jump through hyperspace to escape Imperial Star Destroyers, and as a result rediscovered Ruusan. Ten years later, he helped Morgan Katarn replant Rebel colonists from Sulon onto Ruusan. He was rumored to be sleeping with his second-in-command, Marie Peeno.
