- "While I regret that it had to turn violent, my guards acted per orders and are to be commended. We have a responsibility to the representatives of the Republic. We have hundreds of delegates arriving in the coming days, and we have to make sure they are safe, and to do so, we have to clear those entryways."
- ―Jesra Loture
In 22 BBY, Jesra was among the Senate Guards who prevent a crowd of protesters from moving into the Senate Building during the establishment of creating a Grand Army of the Republic. In order to ensure the safety of the delegates and senators, Jesra decided to proceed with force against the demonstrators.
