Jess was one of the dancers/singers in Jabba's Palace during the time of Jabba's defeat. She was wearing a bikini and long blue leggings when the Heroes of Yavin infiltrated Jabba's Palace to rescue Han Solo. Jess had white hair with blue highlights. She usually could please her audience and was often seen in the company of Bib Fortuna. Jess dreamed of leaving the Hutt's palace to start her own band. It is not known what happened to her after the death of Jabba, since she was not seen on the Khetanna.

Jess is not always easy to spot in Return of the Jedi, but when you look carefully you can see her more than once in Jabba's Throne Room. She can be seen very clearly in the videoclip of Lapti Nek.
