Jetsticks or jet-sticks were a two-man vehicle, described as "rocket powered platforms" used by the Galactic Empire and by private individuals. They hovered over the ground, about five feet up, and provided quick transport over uneven terrain.

Jetsticks were used by the Imperial forces on Aquilae as well as by the anthropologists Owen and Beru Lars on Yavin. Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Biggs and Windy borrowed them to search for Annikin Starkiller and Leia.

Behind the scenesEdit

• The "jetstick" is the conceptual ancestor of the speeder bike. The presence of the jetsticks on Yavin is indicative of the rough draft as a major source for Episode VI.
