Lieutenant Jez Planchet was a male Human who joined the Rebel Alliance. Planchet went undercover on the planet Malastare and was captured by the Galactic Empire. He broke under torture and provided all the Rebel secrets he knew before being killed by a blaster shot.

In 0 ABY, the Imperial assassin X-7 went to the Rebel base on Yavin 4 during a mission to kill the pilot who destroyed the first Death Star. Under the alias S'ree Bonard, X-7 used a thumbprint and an Alliance landing code supposedly given to him by Planchet to get past the Alliance security. X-7 explained that Planchet recruited him while he was undercover on Malastare.
