Jhorval was a Human male Sith who served the Sith Empire on the Sith capital planet of Dromund Kaas. At some point either prior to or during the Cold war he joined the cult known as the Revanites, in which he worked his way up to the rank of Elder. When a fellow Revanite, the Sith Ladra tasked a new intiate into the order with retrieving Revan's mask from the rogue Sith Lord Grathan's estate, Jhorval requested that the intitate instead returned the relic too him. He and several other Revanites beelived that if the mask was returned to Ladra, who he belived was obssessed with the mask, then the Revanites would end up becoming focused on it instead of Revan's teachings, which they saw as more important. To stop this Jhorval planned to hide the mask where it wouldn't distract the Revanites while still keeping it safe.
