Jimmy Mac is a radio professional based out of Chicago. In December 2006, Jimmy joined the staff of the Force-Cast, including Jason Swank, Pete Nadel, Dan Curto, Rebelscum's own Jovial Jay Shepard, and former Official Fan Club President Dustin Roberts. Jimmy is known to fans of the show as the audio genius behind the various sound clips played throughout the show. He also hosts "A Galaxy of Music," a Force-Cast miniseries showcasing fan-made Star Wars music.
Jimmy covered Celebration 2 and 3 for CBS Radio and in 2005, just prior to the release of the Revenge of the Sith, he produced and hosted "The Star Wars Radio Special" featuring his interviews with actors from all six of the films. Jimmy was in attendance at Star Wars Celebration IV as well, this time covering the event for The Force-Cast. In addition to attending many of the panels and interviewing lots of celebrities, Jimmy was a judge alongside Jeremy Bulloch and Barrie Holland for the Master Replicas Lightsaber competition in Hollywood. In October 2007, Jimmy covered the Chicago premiere of Star Wars : Where Science Meets Imagination where he conducted an in-depth interview with C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels. In July 2008, Mac covered Celebration Japan where he interviewed several stars from Star Wars including Mark Hamill.
The Force-Cast video team, FCTV, turned "The George Lucas Hip Hop", penned and produced by Jimmy Mac, into a short video for entry in the Atomfilms Star Wars Fan Film awards. The film won the Audience Choice Award and Best Animation.
A fan since the age of eight, when he saw the original film in 1977, Jimmy is an avid collector of the vintage and current action figure lines, the books, comics, and cards. He shares this passion with his two young boys.
