- "You sound like a festerin' jizz-box. I got a festerin' jizz-box right over there in that corner."
- ―The assistant manager of the Wookiee's Codpiece
The jizz-box was a musical device. In 13 ABY, the protocol droid C-3PO, who was stranded on the planet of Nim Drovis, auditioned to perform at a cantina called the Wookiee's Codpiece. C-3PO performed by playing back songs stored in his memory core with his vocabulator. The assistant manager of the establishment told the droid that he sounded like a festering jizz-box and rejected him, saying the Codpiece already had a jizz-box to play.[1]
Behind the scenes
The jizz-box was briefly mentioned in Planet of Twilight, a 1997 novel by Barbara Hambly. The musical form known as jizz was created for Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, released in 1977. The band featured in the film's cantina scene is performing jizz.[2]
