Private Joaa'n was a muscular, stocky, explosives expert who played a key role in the raiding of the slave ship Helot's Shackle. She was one of the few members of Red Hand Squadron to live long enough to fight in their last stand at Toprawa—giving Princess Leia enough time to receive the Death Star plans—where she was killed.
