[edit] Biography

Jobal at dinner with her family.

Jobal and her husband originated from a small mountain village of Naboo, where their respective mothers had conspired to get their children together, yet been surprised when the two fell in love.

When their children Sola and Padmé were born, Jobal and Ruwee moved to Theed in order to offer them a chance at a higher education and richer life. Jobal was a very hospitable housewife and offered all her guests lavish meals. In Theed she voluntarily worked in a variety of social service roles helping the underprivileged. Her way of life instilled very strong compassion and selflessness into their children, which was obvious from Padmé's career.

Jobal, along with the rest of her family and thousands of other Naboo, attended her daughter Padmé's funeral shortly after the Clone Wars had ended.

Jobal's mother Ryoo was killed in 19 BBY by Inquisitor Malorum.

[edit] Behind the scenes

The brief role of Jobal in the films was played by Trisha Noble. The scenes from Attack of the Clones involving the character were deleted.
