Jodo Kast and Dengar: Preying for Time was a proposed prequel to Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction, to be written by Andy Mangels. It was originally proposed to be a short story for Star Wars Adventure Journal; after West End Games went bankrupt, it was proposed as a 2/3-issue comic miniseries, before being dropped.

Dengar and Jodo Kast reluctantly team up to take bounties on pirates who have been striking the New Republic. Fenn Shysa was rumored to also have been involved.
