Joel Edgerton (born June 23, 1974) played Owen Lars in the prequel trilogy. He is the brother of Ewan McGregor's stunt double, Nash Edgerton. This is an interesting coincidence, as Owen Lars was originally referred to as Obi-Wan Kenobi's brother in the Return of the Jedi novelization.
