John Romita was the penciller and cover artist for Star Wars Droids 1: The Destroyer, Star Wars Droids 2: The Ultimate Weapon, and Star Wars Droids 3: The Scarlet Pirate. Romita also worked on Star Wars Droids 4: Lost in Time and Star Wars Droids 5: Separated.

He created Kugg, the Ranger X-1 craft and the Destroyer droid.
