"Happy Star Wars Day! A little late in the day, perhaps, but I don't really feel I can let it pass without some comment, seeing as I am now a published Star Wars writer too. So—May the fourth be with you."
―Jonathan Green, on Star Wars Day[src]

Jonathan Green is an English freelance writer of speculative fiction, with more than forty books to his name.[1] In 2010, Green wrote two young readers books for the Star Wars franchise: The Clone Wars: Decide Your Destiny: Crisis on Coruscant,[2] and The Clone Wars: The Way of the Warrior.[3]

Green notably created the steampunk Pax Britannia series for Abaddon Books[1] and wrote novels set within Games Workshops worlds of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, which include the Black Templars duology. He also wrote fiction for such diverse properties as Doctor Who, Sonic the Hedgehog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.[1] He has also written a number of non-fiction books including Match Wits with the Kids,[4] What is Myrrh Anyway? Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Christmas,[5] and You Are The Hero—A History of Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks.[6]

On his personal blog, Green has been known to write occasional Star Wars-related posts, including humorous videos[7] and artworks,[8] and Star Wars Day wishes.[9] He even produced a self-made promo trailer for Decide Your Destiny: Crisis on Coruscant, which he uploaded on the video-sharing website Youtube.[10]
