HistoryEdit

Several years before the Battle of Yavin, Josen Shire and his daughter were forced to crash-land their ship on the desert world of Ophideraan. On Ophideraan, Josen and Tanith were enslaved by the Serpent Masters, and put to work maintaining the Great Well.

In 0 ABY, Luke Skywalker also crashed on the planet. He helped the young rebel to defeat the Serpent Masters. After their liberation, Josen Shire, Skywalker and the other former slaves used the Serpent Masters' ship to leave Ophideraan.
