Josh Kushins is a co-author of the three-volume compendium The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. Kushins was born in southern California and attended Northwestern University in Illinois, studying film, before returning to the Los Angeles area. He has worked as a freelance writer, at Twentieth Century Fox, and at Lucasfilm's Presidio offices in the San Francisco Bay Area.^[1]

As of 2008, Josh Kushins is manager of communications at Lucasfilm.^[1]
