Jub Jub (Pronounced Yub Yub) is a a sound that appears to be Ewokese or in the language of the the Jawas. This sound was one of the most commonly used words in Ewokese. When R2-D2 was captured by Jawas on Tatooine, they spoke it often. The Ewoks of Endor also created the sound in the presence of Leia Organa just before the Battle of Endor.

The creature immediately said this to make it sound as if he were talking, either to himself or her.

It is not known exactly what the word might mean; it is a word used to fill the gap between nothing being said and what they always say.
