Han Solo and Chewbacca arrived there after Princess Leia Organa had sent them out to find one of the mythical shield-disrupting power gems once used by the Pirates of Iridium. After Solo got into a fist fight in the Station's cantina, he and Chewbacca met an agent of Mystra. It was he who told them of an ex-pirate named Raskar who possessed the last remaining shield-disrupting gem in the galaxy.
