Jurga was a Hutt crime lord living in the galaxy.[1] Although a member of a species of hermaphrodites,[2] Jurga possessed a male personality.[1] He was known to openly wear a Tenloss disruptor weapon on his sash to symbolize his power—defying laws[3] that called for those who owned disruptor weapons to be punished with death. Jurga was later disintegrated by an outraged employee who used the weapon to end Jurga's life.[1]

Jurga the Hutt was first mentioned in an entry for Tenloss disruptor weapons in the 2002 Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Arms & Equipment Guide, which was written by Jeff Grubb and Owen K.C. Stephens.[1] In 2008, Jurga received an entry in Del Rey's The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.[3]
