KDT was a groups of 3 Sentinel-class landing craft carrying prisoners, overseen by Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Goliath.

Several of them had Bothan slaves who were sympathetic to the Rebel cause.

After a mysterious transmission by an unnamed informer, four Y-wings—one of them piloted by Ace Azzameen—and three T-65 X-wing starfighters attacked the convoy and disabled the convoy craft with the slaves. Then Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transports from Tango squadron liberated the slaves while the Rebel fighters provided cover for them. The rest of the convoy which contained stormtroopers, generators, weapons, and provisions was presumably destroyed.
