The KE-6b mine was a modified version of the KE-6 proximity mine manufactured by Golan Arms and utilized by Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War.[1] Imperial shock troopers were known to drop proximity mines to effectively wipe out entire squads of Rebel soldiers and defend locations.[2]
