The Kaer Orbital Platform was a two-kilometer-wide Confederacy of Independent Systems base, built in orbit around a gas giant in the Siskeen system.

HistoryEdit

It was constructed by the InterGalactic Banking Clan using materials specially ferried by Banking Clan Cargo Ships, and used as a refueling and repair station for their allies. It was abandoned when the Hutt Cartel discovered its location. The Banking Clan evacuated, but left the station intact.

Years later, shortly after the Battle of Geonosis, General Sev'rance Tann was assigned to the platform to rebuild the shattered droid armies of the Separatists. Clearing out the local population of mynocks that had found a refuge there, Sev'rance used the old facilities to construct many dwarf spider droids and homing spider droids. Galactic Republic General Jor Drakas eventually discovered the build-up, but Sev'rance was able to evacuate her new forces in time.
