The Kalinda systemwas a star system located within the Mid Rim region of the galaxy which contained the orange star Kalinda. Six planets orbited Kalinda, protected by a dispersed asteroid belt at the edge of the system. The sole habitable planet was Kirima. The system was discovered by and named for Jak Kalinda.

HistoryEdit

The Kalinda system was strategically located between the Corporate Sector, New Republic space and a small segment of the Imperial boundary. Sometime after the Battle of Endor, an Imperial fleet that attempted to gain control of the system was repulsed by the Kalinda System Defense Force, Kalindan Deep Space Fleet, and smugglers secretly hired by the New Republic in an operation named Project Second Chance.
