Kameda was a captain in the Imperial Navy who served under Admiral Daala prior to the Battle of Yavin.
Following an ambush by members of the Rebel Alliance at the Battle of Despayre, it was Kameda's duty to inform Grand Moff Tarkin that Daala had been injured during the battle.
