Kandji was close friends with Biggs Darklighter, who had romantic feelings for her. She was kidnapped by Tusken Raiders, but they killed her before a rescue party could save her. It is unknown if Biggs ever told Kandji how he felt towards her. Biggs kept a holo image of her in his quarters on the Rand Ecliptic.
