Karthakk was the primary star of the Karthakk system.

In 20 BBY, the bounty hunter known as Durge was engulfed by the star after being forced into an escape pod by Anakin Skywalker and sent flying towards it. The seemingly-invincible Gen'Dai was disintegrated by the star's intense heat.

Karthakk provided light to the nearby planets of Lok, Maramere, and Nod Kartha.
