Kass Tod was a female Zabrak Jedi Padawan in the waning years of the Galactic Republic and a Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic. She was one of the orphaned Padawans who comprised the Padawan Pack in the Battle of Jabiim during the height of the Clone Wars.

[edit] Biography
Under the command of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kass and her small force remained behind the main battle lines, until the main force managed to overrun the main weapons emplacement of the Jabiimi rebels. Obi-Wan then ordered Kass to cut off any rebel retreat along the flanks of the main Republic line. After her Master was killed in battle, Kass rejoined the group of surviving Padawans and tried to get back to the main Republic outpost. One of the few things that kept her going was her love for fellow Padawan Mak Lotor, who served as her pillar of strength.
When the surviving Padawans banded together in an effort to stop the advance of the Jabiim Separatist leader Alto Stratus, Kass and Mak fought bravely for four days before cornering Stratus on the battlefield. Kass managed to sever Stratus' right leg before a Hailfire droid fired its rockets at the Jedi. Unable to divert the missiles due to fatigue, Mak and Kass, having decided to die together, were killed in a fiery explosion.
