DescriptionEdit

The planet was a terrestrial planet with a tropical climate. It was well known for its beautiful beaches. The city of Haleoda was the capital and the planet's main spaceport.^[3]

HistoryEdit

Kattada joined the Galactic Republic prior to the Indecta Era. During the Alsakan Conflicts, it supported Alsakan.^[4]

Prior to 0 BBY, the planet was ruled by Mia Ikova, a Rebel sympathizer. It was the site of the Battle of Kattada, which was a battle fought between Imperial and Rebellion forces led by Princess Leia Organa.^[3]
