Kattadan Guards were the planet Kattada's primary defense force. They wore blue body armor and were armed with blasters. They were lightly armed since Kattada was a peaceful planet.

Members of the organization served Kattada's ruler Madam Mia Ikova as her personal body guards in 1 BBY. During the Battle of Kattada, Kattadan guards fought alongside Rebel Alliance forces from Princess Leia Organa's transport Tantive IV against an Imperial patrol under Commander Karg sent to arrest Organa.
