Kauri was an Agave-class picket ship assigned by the New Republic to assist in the capture of the Teljkon Vagabond. It was attacked and badly damaged.

Kauri was also the name of a server — or "Galaxy" — in Star Wars Galaxies which happens to be a mostly French server (during some parts of the day). Other times, it was a heavily central-time zone (USA) server.
