Kav Dryfus was a male Elom soldier who fought against the Galactic Empire. He originally met Ryannar N'on Dikasterar, an Elomin, during a mining accident, and they were unsteady with each other. Later however, they met again and became friends. Unfortunately, Dryfus was captured, and died in an Imperial prison.

Kav Dryfus is a reference of Kevin Dreyfuss, who was manager of Ann Margaret Lewis, the author of The Essential Guide to Alien Species, the book that Dryfus appears in.
