Kavel Mesa was a logistics officer for the Rebel Alliance holding the rank of Captain.

BiographyEdit

In 3 ABY, Princess Leia placed him in charge of a special project that involved using five Kerts-Bhrg generators to create a protective environmental field around the entire fleet, so that the rebels could effectively hide their ships within the chromosphere of the star, Arbran. During the fields' initial testing phase, an absorption circuit overloaded and the command center on the control generator was filled with noxious gas. Captain Mesa and several members of the maintenance crew passed out for a brief period of time before the circuit could be repaired.
