Kaz Lo was a male Zabrak who made his living as a tech specialist during the last years of the Galactic Republic. His first name, Kaz, meant "clever" or "innovative" in the Zabraki language.

The Star Wars Roleplaying Game Revised Core Rulebook (May 2002) was the first source to mention Kaz Lo. Likewise, the Ultimate Alien Anthology (April 2003) says that Kaz Lo is a Zabrak.
