Ken Stephenson was the animation director for the animated segment of The Star Wars Holiday Special. He later directed several episodes of the Star Wars: Droids and Star Wars: Ewoks animated series. He was the only crew member of the holiday special to return to work on those two shows.

He also worked on other Nelvana shows and films including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Care Bears, Eek! The Cat, My Pet Monster, Rock & Rule, Stickin' Around, NeverEnding Story, George and Martha and Rupert.

Other shows he has worked on are Inspector Gadget and The Smoggies.
