The Kenobi Offensive was a starship maneuver devised by Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars. Officers of the Imperial Navy apparently studied it; Admiral Gial Ackbar, as well, studied it at some point. It was mentioned in a datacard written by Ackbar called Fleet Tactics and Combat Methodology.
The plan called for a series of sniping attacks, drawing a portion of a larger force out of its formation. Once a defending vessel is destroyed, attacking ships flooded through the gap and attacked the force from within.
